Papers of lawyer John Henry Gray contain Griswold and Gray family genealogies, correspondence regarding the need for warning buoys in the Lynn (Mass.) harbor, a letter from a sculptor concerning a monument to former Harvard President John Thornton Kirkland planned for Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Gray's Italian certificate of music scholarship, and a song-book. Also, papers of Gray's work on the Charles Tucker estate, estate inventories, letters from Tucker's son, Richard Dawson Tucker to his future wife Sarah Chandler, R.D.
